Roxanne DePalma using the Dirty Little Digger in a pumpkin

It’s time to carve out some artistry! When you think of fall, one of the first things that comes to mind is pumpkins.  Did you know that pumpkin seeds can be roasted and used in salads and snacks?  The Spanish word for pumpkin seeds is “pepita”.  Pumpkins can be used to feed animals and contain Potassium and Vitamin A, and their flowers are edible!  These fruit are very versatile.  You can enjoy pies, breads, soups and many other interesting recipes!

Most importantly, don’t forget to remove the seeds!  Any easy and effective way to do this is by using the Dirty Little Digger.  This versatile tool gives you 6 tools in one! (Cultivator, Trowel, Weeder, Scoop, Bulb Digger and Hori Knife).  Imagine the time saved by using our innovative tool.  You will be amazed at the ease and constancy this tool continues to give you, time after time.

Fall is also a time of year to do yard and plant maintenance, including fall bulb planting.  Imagine the ease of cutting soil and digging through tough dirt to plant bulbs that will bloom in Spring. And don’t forget, the spoon shape is also etched with measurements of 1” to 4” for correct planting depth!  The DLD is also great to scoop bird seed into your favorite feeder or to spread salt when it gets icy on your sidewalk or driveway!

Whether you are preparing for snow or a more temperate climate, the Dirty Little Digger will be one of your most favored tools!
